complete ownership of their identities, and user-friendly security,

decentralized identities were developed.

A verifiable proof of existence is frequently required 

of citizens in order to access basic services like banking,

healthcare, and education. Sadly, according to 

Worldbank statistics, 1 billion people worldwide still do

not possess a recognised identity document.

A sizable portion of the population lives in unstable
